About Phillip Mallett

Phillip Mallett took his MA in English at King’s College, Cambridge, where he was sometime Charles Oldham Shakespeare Scholar, then spent a year teaching at Trent College before returning to Cambridge for postgraduate work on John Ruskin. He joined the University of St Andrews in 1972.

Alongside his research interests, he led workshops on teaching, assessment and research supervision in four Scottish universities, and was for some years responsible for Academic Staff Development in St Andrews.
